 Pets Overload is a personal pet blog focussed on sharing information, reviews and stories about cats, chinchillas, betta fish, dogs and hamsters.
I started the blog as a way to archive the lives of my pets, but the blog became so much more when we went through a difficult and traumatic time with our eldest cat, Beau. In late 2017, Beau experienced complications due to a urinary tract infection and underwent a perineal urethrostomy and double cystotomy leaving both me and my partner shattered. Having the emotional support of my blog’s readers, I realized how important it was to share my experiences, especially about surgeries or treatments that are still fairly uncommon. Pets Overload now primarily focusses on sharing information about cat care, betta fish care, and chinchilla care; with a story here and there about one of our cats Beau or Kalista, or our latest addition Gary the chinchilla. |
